A beautiful family hike below Les Fiz and Pormenaz, with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc and the valley. From here, you can access Lake Pormenaz via three trails, including "La Chorde," reserved for those with mountain feet, with cable passages and ladders, and "Les Argentières," a less challenging route with cable passages and steps, and then the one passing through the Pierre à l'Ours on the mountainside.

Perfect base for climbing Mont Blanc starting on foot from Les Houches. For the fittest, it is possible to reach the summit of Mont Blanc from here (2400 m D+/-). Excellent cuisine and spectacular view!

Located at an altitude of 2,000 meters on the Mont Blanc massif, the Mont Joly refuge offers a magnificent setting whether you are spending the night or simply stopping over. The dormitories have a limited number of places (15 beds) and offer a catering service to please you in the morning or evening.
