Still closed June 2024 Gardens wern't open either.... Couldn't find any information about it on the web.... I would suggest giving this site a total miss !! There are far better options available such as Azay le Rideau...

Vallères is a small picturesque town not far from Tours. There is a picnic area near the church, otherwise there is a La Buffet' by Juju café on the main street. It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. then in the evening from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Château de la Chatonnière features 13 thematically different garden sections. In addition, there are various events throughout the year, such as theater performances. Unfortunately, the castle is currently closed, so please check the website first to see if it has reopened.
