An old village perched above the Toulourenc valley, Brantes is definitely worth a visit. Don't hesitate to go through the postern gate marking the entrance to the village, even if you'll probably have to get off your bike to do so, because the steep streets are made of uneven cobblestones. You can have a small crepe at Suzette's and enjoy the terrace with a view of the east face of Mont Ventoux.
