This lift bridge, which connects both banks of the Seine, is rare in terms of its technology. I therefore find it very interesting.

The church was built on the place where Joan of Arc was executed. This national heroine is commemorated every year on the second Sunday in May. The roofs of the church and the small halls are deliberately based on the flames of the pyre on which Joan of Arc was burned.

Looks like a mixture of Le Corbusier and Gothic. Unfortunately I missed it when I visited. Must come back!

A massacre street? As Jacques Le Lieur quotes in his fountain book of 1525, it is the former "Rue des Boucheries Massacres", where the butchers killed their animals because there were no external slaughterhouses.

Beautiful historic half-timbered structure of the old town.

A wonderful building with a finely crafted façade that is worth looking at, even if the cathedral opposite draws all the attention. Monet probably painted his famous pictures here: when you stand in front of the house, you can see the same perspective.
