Route tested in both directions on a gravel bike... I would rather recommend doing it from Brié towards Haute-Jarrie: the descent is too steep (even with a "big" gravel bike) but in the other direction pushing uphill is really not easy.

nice climb up to the intersection...then the road going to the fort is cleaner depending on the day (twigs, bread needles...)
