Great walk

Molard, from its 1752 meters, is a summit in the Swiss Alps which offers a magnificent view of Lake Geneva and the surrounding valleys. If we continue to follow the path, a few minutes from the summit we can also enjoy a sublime view of the Vaud valley.

If you're looking for a scenic, moderate hike in the Swiss Pre-Alps, Le Folly is a great option. You can start from the Route des Pautex crossroads and follow the path through a dream cultural landscape to the summit of Folly at 1730 meters. The hike is partly located in the Gruyère and Pays d'Enhaut natural park, which invites you to discover more of its beauty and biodiversity. Along the route you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains, valleys and lakes.

Beautiful viewpoint at the highest point of the mountain. During the walk there you will not encounter any water fountains. It is important to bring enough water with you. There is a restaurant on the mountain if necessary.

A special feature of the Les Tenasses bog is its many carnivorous plants. It's well worth a visit and you can keep your feet dry on the beautifully laid-out boardwalk.

The daffodil fields north of Les Pléiades, near Les Conversions and Prantin, are in full bloom from mid-May to early June. The visit can be optimally combined with a visit to the Les Tenasses raised moor about halfway to the large Motalles car park. If the weeks at the beginning of May are a bit cool and wet, mid-May may still be too early to visit the flower carpet. In Les Avants, a little lower and closer to Montreux, the flowers open a little earlier than on the Pléiades.

From the terrace of the restaurant at the train station you have a great view!
