Difficult to access, but the view is worth the detour. The prices are not excessive.

This refuge is located in the Chablais massif, very close to the GR 5. It is a good stopover point to discover the forests, mountain pastures and peaks in the surrounding area. It has 44 beds (reduced to 20 during the winter period). The refuge provides a kitchen area (without a fridge) to allow you to prepare your meals. The Chésery refuge is an old stable which was rehabilitated in 1987. Nestled at an altitude of 1,981 meters in a dream setting, it offers a unique mountain experience just a stone's throw from Lac Vert.

An alpine cabin nestled in a small mountain valley. This alpine restaurant is an ideal place to take a lunch break or relax after a long day in the mountains. Cabins like this are characteristic of this region and an integral part of mountain culture.

There's never a good reason to drive past a shelter, and this place is no exception. A traditional alpine refuge, on the shores of Lac Vert, offering hot coffee and cold beer, in an exceptional location. Stop to catch your breath and enjoy the view and ambiance.

The refuge of Chésery is an old stable built in the middle of the 19th century. Renovated in 1987, this building has been transformed into a mountain lodge.

Very nice refuge with an incredible view of the Chablais. Located at the foot of Mont de Grange and just under the Col des Mattes, you can climb there simply to eat, or as a "variant" stage of the GR5.
