The Gobelins Manufactory (full French name: Manufacture nationale des Gobelins) is a traditional and renowned tapestry manufactory located on Avenue des Gobelins in Paris (13th arrondissement). It was founded in 1607 as a private company and continued as the Royal Tapestry Manufactory from 1667 onwards. Since 1792, the manufactory has been owned by the French state and administered by the Ministry of Culture. Today, it serves simultaneously as a workshop—the tapestries produced are made for state buildings—a training center for tapestries, and a museum.

Inside is one of the oldest zoos in Europe
