The route here winds through woods and fields, heading upstream on the right bank of the Rhine. Compared to other users, I found the asphalt very rough and uneven, with some potholes. I was glad I was using a gravel bike.

Coming from Katzenbuckel, the route is initially car-free for several kilometers. Scenically attractive, and despite some damage to the surface, it's still suitable for road bikes, even downhill.
