A very nice and relaxing cycle path.

St. Mary's Church is the central focal point in the heart of the village and is located directly on the "Thuringian Towns Chain" cycle path. It was portrayed by Lyonel Feininger. The Tröbsdorf war memorial was erected for the victims of the First World War. The memorial consists of a brick obelisk on a pedestal, flanked by cannonballs. The pedestal bears lists of the names of those who fell between 1914 and 1918, which were later supplemented by the names of local residents who died in the Second World War. You can take a shortcut there and avoid car traffic. It's not strictly legal, though.

The beautiful Protestant Church of St. Mary is the undisputed highlight of the Tröbsdorf district of Weimar. Its origins date back to the 13th century.

A hall church dating from 1769-1771. The east tower with a pointed roof dates from 1827. The interior features late Baroque furnishings. A remarkable baptismal angel from the 18th century. Tours are available by appointment.

The bike path is largely separated from the road between Azmannsdorf and Vieselbach. The asphalt is top-quality, and it's a smooth ride.
