There isn't much to see in the town of Saint-Clément itself. But the surrounding area is great!

Simply an incredible expanse... A great beach!

Cycling around the entire island of Ré will most certainly take you to Trousse-Chemise beach. Unsupervised, it is located in a very pleasant, preserved setting for a break.

Les Portes-en-Ré centre village square, now partly taken over by the recently reopened restaurant "La Bazenne" which has outdoor seating in most of it. Tastefully done with roof blinds that can be closed during bad weather but look unobtrusive during sunshine

La Redoute an abandoned military fort, the masonry was re-used to construct the Old Port. The powder magazine became the Notre-Dame Chapel. Destroyed by German soldiers during the occupation it was rebuilt identically in 1986

Nice viewpoint, easily rideable through the woods and then from here the coastline is also rideable Westwards.
