The Renaissance building was constructed in 1572 by order of the "noble Bernardin de la Valette," who was tasked by the consuls with the defense of Espalion during the Wars of Religion. Today it is an artists' residence with temporary exhibitions.

The college was built at the beginning of the 16th century to house the priests of the Saint-Jean-de-l'Ouradou brotherhood. It now houses the town hall and the tourist information office.

A tributary of the Lot

Here you can appreciate the mix of Romanesque and Gothic elements of the Saint-Fleuret church, which reflects its long history of construction and renovation. The long steps leading up to the church only add to the grandeur of this impressive place of worship.
