You can't miss the lookout tower if you're cycling, as it's right next to the bike path. Unfortunately, you can't go in because the door is locked. The steps to the door are also missing (the doorway is far too high). Nevertheless, I find the ruins interesting, and it's a good place to stop for a break.

Coming from the north, the cycle path has a good surface up to the top (the access road to the Plesse itself). From there, the road leads to a steep descent to Reyershausen.
