Following the heavy rains of October 2024, the route is no longer accessible (no more bridge and paths cut by branches)

Traboules are hidden passages and corridors that allow you to walk long distances away from the street. This allows you to take shortcuts or walk parallel to the street. You walk through hallways, courtyards and stairwells, all of which are connected to each other. Large and very many traboules can be found in Lyon. They are a relic of Lyon's past and are mainly found on the Croix Rousse mountain and in the old town of Vieux Lyon.

Do not use after heavy rain, some passages are flooded

Here is a small wooden bridge which allows you to cross the Mornantet and access the Montrond forest plateau.
