Very pretty view of the Château d'Ingrandes when crossing the bridge. You will find a small grocery store and a café/bar next to the post office in the center of the village.

Located in the Brenne Regional Natural Park, Igrandes is a good starting point for many walks, particularly on the Vallées greenway (V94). We have a beautiful view from the Anglin river bridge, over the village and its superb castle.

The abbey is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List due to its comprehensive and well-preserved collection of Romanesque wall paintings. It is worth visiting for that alone. The abbey site has been occupied since at least the 9th century.
