The date of construction of the first castle is not known. It was burned around 1460 by the troops of the Duke of Bourbon. The old part which remains is built, as is often the case in Dombes, in red bricks. It is currently a rehabilitation center for children. Beautiful tree-lined paths, created by the ancient lords, lead from the castle.
