The Retord plateau is a fantastic place for hiking or cycling. This was one of my highlights of the entire GTJ. A mix between wide open spaces and wooded areas! On a clear day, from the highest points of the plateau, you have a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc.

When the weather is nice and there are no clouds, you can see Mont Blanc. Otherwise, you can settle for the closer mountains which are already magnificent!
