The Rhine-Rhône Canal runs directly alongside high cliffs here and opens into a narrow lock channel through a very narrow rock archway. A truly spectacular section of our cycling route!

It's a lovely walk, with a beautiful, varied forest. Because of the heat (35°C), we limited ourselves to the section through the woods. Because it was very dry, that was also possible. Even the half-circle walk was worth it.

A wonderful tour along the Doubs river. Due to the high water levels, there are impressive hydraulic jumps at the weirs.

On this section of the Rhône-Rhine canal, the cycle path is bordered by cliffs. It is a very pretty passage, with a few picnic spots.
