A scene from a fairy tale book awaits us behind the ridge: a valley, framed by white rock and forest, open on one side to the view of mountains and valleys of Montenegro, loosely equipped with small huts, in between sheep, chickens, horses, cows. fantastic. Three families seem to live there; one runs the "Eko Katun Goleš", where we have lunch with, among other things, handmade lemonade, own cheese, ham, Nikšićko beer and cake. The "Katun Goleš trail" leads there with a long ascent through the primeval forest.

Lake Šiška, which nestles in the slopes as a blue-grey eye, with cows on the path and horses on the lake shore, is a worthwhile destination and offers a dreamlike sight!

A great view rewards the tradition; you can see the Komovi in the distance and all the mountains to the south and west... seemingly over "half Montenegro"! 😉
