A simple pedestrian bridge connects the two banks of the Semois at this location. The restaurant “Mon Manège à Toi” is located directly on the west bank. You can enjoy a variety of regional dishes on the terrace with a view of the water.

The ruins of Montragu Castle are located on a rocky ridge above the village of Frahan, at least according to the info I found. On site I still doubted whether there would have been a castle here or whether it was just a natural rock that looked like a castle. But archaeological excavations have uncovered the remains, three towers and a wall, probably from sometime in the early 13th century. I looked around but couldn't find any landmarks of anything that looked like a castle. It is suspected that the castle was never completed. A beautiful place that appeals to the imagination...
