Very unusual church in Nuits Saint Georges - worth seeing!

A beautiful place to relax! Nuits-Saint-Georges also has a rich and diverse heritage combining architecture and culture. Emblem of the city, the belfry is one of the buildings that characterize the city.

Part of winemaker Albert Bichot's estate, Château-Gris, was built in the 18th century. Tiles are predominant in Burgundy, but the roof was covered with gray slates after the estate's vines were destroyed by phylloxera, hence the name due to the gray color of the newly laid gray slate.

Very friendly and fun owner. Café always open, and serving snacks all day, good to know for those on the move. The sandwiches are always good here, and this Sunday lunchtime the restaurant was full, all locals - the guarantee of good value for money. The regulars are very nice too!!
