The Arzal dam is built on the Vilaine estuary between Arzal and Camoël. It is the largest estuary dam in Europe. It is 500 meters long and has a sea wall and five gates. To allow circulation between the river and the ocean, the dam has a lock. A port is also located nearby.

The Notre-Dame-de-La-Côte chapel, at the tip of Penvins, has been watching over the sailors who admire it for centuries. The chapel was built in the 11th century, then underwent two reconstructions: in the 17th century and at the end of the 19th century.

In the seaside town of Pénestin, the gold mine beach is a long strip of sand topped with cliffs in colors reminiscent of the precious metal. Beyond the color, the beach takes its name from a mining operation opened at the beginning of the 19th century, quickly closed due to the costs involved.
