Beautiful view of a Basque village

Just before the Mondarrain, the panorama is just incredible

Between Mondarrain and Bizkailuze, in the mountains of the Basque Country, the ridge landscapes offer breathtaking panoramas. Along these paths, you will discover spectacular views of the green valleys, the Basque villages and, on a clear day, all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. The ridges, covered with moors and heather, offer a wild and unspoiled atmosphere.

A small variation of the circuit which allows you to discover an old washhouse by continuing the road between the pediment and the town hall and going down the small staircase just after. Then at the bottom cross a small meadow, cross a small bridge and there is the old washhouse. Family itinerary available in pdf on the town hall website

Very nice circuit around the North of Espelette

Unmarked path and at times almost non-existent among the ferns, often difficult with sections around 30%.
