The two upper Lochbach waterfalls are approximately 15m high and have a very wide conglomerate rock basin.

The path is beautifully laid out and easy to walk except for the short ladder section. When the trees don't have any leaves yet, it offers a beautiful view.

The rock path runs a little off the beaten track and is neither rocky nor dangerous. The only place that previously required surefootedness, as the slope drops steeply right next to the path, has been secured by the Bäretswil Tourist Office with a sturdy wooden railing and a steep steel ladder. At the bottom of the ladder is now the only bench along the rock path.
