Just a short walk from the city centre, the Montbéliard marina offers a pleasant stop for strolling along the banks of the Rhône-Rhine canal.

The town of Montbéliard was part of Württemberg for 400 years and was called “Mömpelgard”.

She was carried in procession around the city's churches in 1651 and solemnly crowned by the Archbishop of Prague in 1655. She is still the object of fervent veneration by pilgrims from all over the world. Her famous wardrobe is rich in more than one hundred precious garments, offered by illustrious or anonymous pilgrims. The most beautiful embroidered mantles and numerous objects dedicated to the cult of the statue can be seen in the Museum of the Infant Jesus in Prague, located in the Church of Our Lady of Victory. Our Lady of Victory. The building, built between 1611 and 1613 during the reign of Emperor Rudolf II, was one of the first Protestant temples in Prague. In 1620, after the Tehek defeat of White Mountain, it was taken from the Protestants, donated to the Catholic Pordre des Carmes Déschausés, and renamed Notre-Dame de la Victoire. This church is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in the Czech Republic.
