Beautiful tower and well-preserved

🚲 Day Trip Tip Wildberg is known as the "Shepherds' Run Town." If you visit the prison tower, a side trip to the nearby Maria Reuthin Monastery is also worthwhile; its granary now houses the local history museum. There you can delve even deeper into the history of the town and the famous Shepherds' Run.

🏰 The jail tower in Wildberg (Black Forest) is an important historical landmark and the only one of the original seven city gates of the city fortifications that has been preserved.

After a storm the hut was destroyed. Today here is a bigger hut instead.

The Hermann Braun Hut is idyllically situated on the edge of the Black Forest and is a popular rest stop for hikers and nature lovers. Surrounded by dense forests and magnificent views of the Nagold Valley, the hut invites you to take a break. A small parking lot is also nearby.

A small hut with a small parking lot for about six vehicles. It's an ideal starting point for climbing in the former quarry or access to the Engagement Trail.

The market square with its half-timbered showcase houses, the Protestant church and the market fountain are all calendar motifs.
