Walkenstein Castle, also known as Falkenstein or Valkenstein, is the ruin of a spur castle located at 359 meters above sea level on the western spur of the "Webersköpfle" hill near the village of Walke, part of the municipality of Oberwolfach in the Ortenau district of Baden-Württemberg. Of the former castle complex, which consisted only of a residential tower, only the square foundation remains of the tower, measuring 7.80 by 8.75 meters with an average wall thickness of 1.50 meters, are still preserved. Very nice cabin with great outdoor dining and direct access to the ski slope.

On the adventure cycle path in the Wolftal Valley, there's a cozy seating area with the large wooden lettering "LOVE" in the background! Especially suitable for couples...

A very beautiful bike path in the Wolf Valley. Definitely worth a try. There's a lot to see, and you won't be short on thirst either.

A beautiful bike path takes you along the banks of the Wolf River. The river rises near the Alexanderschanze ski jump in the Northern Black Forest and flows into the Kinzig River after 30 kilometers.

The goal of the Wolf and Bear Park is to house large animals – primarily bears – that are in distress or have been abused. The park was founded in 2010 and covers ten hectares.
