Originally, the territory had two chapels, one dedicated to Saint Martin, the other to Saint Prix, located in Elleville. In the mid-16th century, the Le Coq family settled in Corbeville and chose the nearest Saint Martin chapel to become the parish church under the name of Saint Martin of Elleville. Probably remodeled in the 16th and 17th centuries, it has an Avrais-style bell tower entirely covered in slate.

Dating from the 18th century, it belongs to the simple type of barn church with its “Avrais” type bell tower with a slate roof.

Located at the crossroads, a small restored washhouse.

The Avre aqueduct is one of the structures that supplies the city of Paris with drinking water. Inaugurated in 1893, it carries 80 million liters (out of a total of 680 million liters) per day from the Drouais in Eure-et-Loir. The water is transported by simple gravity: the altitude of the springs in the Avre region is 40 m higher than the level of the Saint-Cloud reservoir, their point of arrival. Several springs are captured in the Dreux region, in the Avre catchment basin.

This village of only 400 inhabitants does not lack charm. There is the charming 18th century church-barn of Saint-Cloud; the Notre-Dame-de-la-Pitié chapel, from the 16th century; a war memorial; as well as a lovely little washhouse.
