1853年に完成したこの歩道橋は、岸から10m離れた2つの橋脚に固定されたマストに固定された斜材で支えられた87mの支間で構成されています。1944年9月1日、ドイツ軍はこの歩道橋を爆破しました。ケーブルとデッキは部分的に破壊されました。同じように再建され、1944年11月に一般に再開されました。 2003年3月17日、1881年7月29日にラ・ギロティエールで生まれ、1953年3月29日に亡くなり、宗派間の交流に貢献したこの司祭を称えて、ポール・クチュリエ歩道橋と改名されました。

Beautiful pass at 736 m, quite gentle, 6.1% average. Nice to do by mixing with the 76 gravel hiking trail.

The contrast between the calm water and the modern and historic buildings of Lyon creates a calming and picturesque urban landscape.

Built in 1853, this suspended footbridge is one of the oldest in Lyon. It connects the Saint-Georges district to the Presqu’île and offers picturesque views of the Saône and the city’s historic buildings. It was restored in 2001 to preserve its heritage.
