The Voie Verte du Canal du Centre, located just outside Paray-le-Monial, offers a scenic and relaxing experience in the heart of the Burgundy region. Along the way, you will enjoy a well-maintained greenway that runs alongside the historic Canal du Centre, allowing you to ride on flat and easy terrain. It is the perfect complement to any hike.

Dries out much more slowly than the other roads, and there are always lots of branches on the ground. Fine for cyclists with mudguards, but not so good for racing cyclists.

The relics of Saint Claude la Colombière, spiritual director of Saint Marguerite-Marie, are venerated in the Chapelle de La Colombière. It houses the relics of Blessed Claude La Colombière (canonized by Pope John Paul II on May 31, 1992), who was St. Margaret-Marie's confidante and supporter in her mission. The Byzantine-inspired chapel, simple from the outside, is enriched inside by mosaics, stained glass windows, carved and painted capitals and sculptures that provide a lavish decoration. In 2012 the chapel was included in the register of historical monuments.

The cattle market of Saint Christophe en Brionnais is one of the most important markets in France for the trade of the emblematic Charolais cows. It takes place every Wednesday, with the traditional OTC market for beef cattle (under the halls), and the clock market for lean cattle in the building at the back.
