Very pretty castle which can be visited at certain times, and in the adjacent woods there are very pleasant single tracks.

Inaugurated in 1889, this Eiffel-type road bridge was recently restored with the addition of two separate lanes to make it safer for pedestrians/cyclists to cross the Allier River.

Ravel Castle is located in the Puy-de-Dôme department, France. The castle dates from the 12th century and was the property of the kings of France and their chancellors. You will be able to admire the architecture and furniture of the castle, as well as the garden designed by André Le Nôtre, the famous landscape architect of Versailles. The castle is open for guided tours from May to August, and on weekends from September to April. You can also enjoy the view of the Limagne plain and the chain of volcanoes from the terrace.

Located on the banks of the Allier, Pont-du-Château has long been the river port of the Auvergne capital. This medieval town has narrow streets with atypical charm. Its Pierre Mondanel museum allows you to delve into the history of the city which was from the 16th to the 19th century an essential place for boating activity.
