The Monument aux Morts in Vandières (Meurthe-et-Moselle) is located on the Place du 11 Novembre, a symbolic location that commemorates the armistice of 1918. The monument is a classic example of French interwar commemorative art and was made by the Union Artistique de Vaucouleurs, a famous foundry specializing in war memorials. The monument bears the inscription: "Honneur aux enfants de Vandières morts pour la France", with which the municipality pays tribute to its inhabitants who died in the service of their country.
