ヴォート水道橋はヴォーバンによって設計され、1688年から1690年にかけて石工親方のジャン・バリエールとピエール・ベルキエールによって建設されました。オート＝ガロンヌ県のレンヌヴィルとガルドゥーシュのコミューンにあり、ミディ運河がシェール川を渡ることを可能にしています。 この建造物は、1998年4月24日の命令により、歴史的建造物の追加目録に登録されています。

カナル・デュ・ミディにある二重水門。水門管理人の家は18世紀半ばのもので、内部は居住空間と馬小屋で構成されていました。この水門の名前はオック語に由来し、「樫の木」を意味します。

ミディ運河は、かつてロワイヤル運河と呼ばれ、17世紀にピエール＝ポール・リケによって大西洋と地中海を結ぶために設計された技術的な偉業です。今日では、遺産、自然、そして親しみやすさが融合した、リラクゼーションと発見の場所となっています。

In 1211, the burning of the Cassés marked a tragic moment. During the crusade against the Albigensians, more than 60 Cathars were burned alive at Les Cassés. This massacre is commemorated by a memorial, erected on the site itself. Despite the sad history, the panorama is truly beautiful.
