アルデンヌのおすすめライド

ヴォワ・ヴェルト・トラン＝アルデンヌは、シャルルヴィル＝メジエールとジヴェの間でマース川渓谷に沿って続く、長くて平坦なサイクリングロードです。川沿いの古い牽引路とサービス道路を利用して作られているため、ほぼ完全に車が通らず、常に水面、森、そして険しいアルデンヌの断崖を眺めながら進むことができます。

Voie Verte沿いに、その歴史を今もファサードに刻む村、モンテルメーへと滑り込みます。マース川は何世紀にもわたり、ここでの仕事場でした。木材のいかだ流し、鍛冶屋、小規模な工業がそのリズムを決定づけていました。今日、あなたが見るのは、その静かな響きです — 坂に建つ自然石の家々、かつて労働者たちが毎日上り下りした広い階段、そして川の周りに形成された村の中心部です。

The canal leads through a tunnel and with it the cycle path.

The beautiful and strikingly modern town hall of the Mezières district. The adjacent forecourt was traffic-calmed a few years ago. There's also a drinking water fountain in the southwest corner of the square.

Very steep indeed, but it is a much better alternative than following the main road! You will be happy to have reached the summit ;) Made it on the gravel bike with 25 kg of luggage.

This is a road/gravel cyclists dream! If going East to West, after a moderate beginning, you will have a wonderful descent without traffic on perfect tarmac - something not often to be found in this area! Enjoy with care! If going East, you will have a long, but steady climb to face - pick wisely ;)
