Very nice little walk! No particular difficulty for someone who is not sporty (haha) I would just advise against the last descent (at the end) to someone who would be afraid when it is slippery (lots of leaves and stones), in which case take the same passage as on the way there.

Magnificent place, ideal for contemplation, introspection and meditation. Beautiful energies.

(Note: Shouldn't it be called 'Cascade de Vulvoz'?) This waterfall is beautiful! Also in October. We did not encounter any other hikers during the entire route, even at the waterfall we were completely alone. We started 'upstairs', also recommended. There are still walls with some windows still standing. And you see a bowl hollowed out by the water. Then we walked down - a slippery, steep path indeed. We thought it was worth it.

It is not a simple waterfall. Its interest, compared to the many waterfalls in the region, lies in the hole that has been dug in the rock over time. So you can see the flowing waters of the Vulva flowing into the void, passing through this hole.

Crossing the Bois de Champois guides you to Saint-Romain-de-Roche. This descent in woods and glades offers you a clear view, sublime in all seasons. The highlight of this segment is the arrival at the Roche de Vaux. At this level, the path marries a very clear balcony on the valley of the Bienne and the small town of Vaux-lès-Saint-Claude.

Through the boxwoods, along a fragrant path, let yourself be guided to the chapel of Saint Romain de Roche. This Romanesque building sits at the end of a rocky outcrop which will offer you in addition to the heritage curiosity, a superb belvedere overlooking the Biel.
