This hike is a highlight

The Kayenta Trail is a popular trail on the west rim of the canyon. It considered somewhat challenging, but you are rewarded to great views of Zion Canyon.

The creek forms a small pond here at the base of the canyon wall before continuing on to Emerald Falls. This is a great place to stick your toes in the water and enjoy the views.

The Angels Landing Trail is a strenuous route in Zion National Park with steep drop-offs and very narrow sections. The technical route, with 21 switchbacks, and incredible views of Zion Canyon make this a popular hike in Zion. Registration required for the hike on top of Angels Landing itself.

Path towards Emerald Pools. The part of the path towards Zions National Park Lodge may be closed in winter, so you have to return the same way you came. There is no shuttle service in winter. On weekends, the valley may be closed to car traffic from the lodge.

The first in the cascade of three natural pools. However, it is worth going to the upper one as it is very quiet there.

There are a total of three pools, although the lower one is not directly on the path. As you move from the middle to the upper pool, keep slightly left and follow the signs indicating where you can't go any further.
