The current Dinant Cultural Center was founded in 1972 under the name "Maison de la Culture de l'Arrondissement de Dinant." Approved and supported by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the Dinant Cultural Center consists of a General Assembly, a Board of Directors, and a Steering Committee. Its daily work is entrusted to a team of currently nearly thirty professionals. The Cultural Center's mission is regulated by a decree and defined by a program contract. They pursue two main objectives: - To provide access to culture for as many people as possible; - To encourage citizens to actively participate in culture.
