Halfway along the Dents-du-Midi tour. Easy but quite long route. Very beautiful view of Lake Geneva at the start of the route then over the Illiez valley to Champéry. Some parts are a bit boring, you can't see the end! Possibility of stopping before the descent from the Antème hut and its very beautiful lakes. Very mineral place at the foot of the Dent-du-Midi where you can notice the very beautiful white layer, a sedimentary rock from the Cretaceous period (between 145 and 66 million years ago)

A path goes up along the torrent. As you gain altitude towards the Barme plateau, the view of the watercourse becomes more and more spectacular.

Located in Val d’Illiez, the Barme plateau offers magnificent panoramas over the valley. Whether on the terrace or in the interior, the Cantine des Dents Blanches offers excellent homemade cuisine made with regional products you have to try.

Located on the heights of Champéry, this bench offers a beautiful view of the town and its valley.

Magnificent refuge located between the Dents du Midi and the Dents Blanches. The view of the Illiez valley and the Ruan glacier is breathtaking. The refuge is open between May and September. It has 18 places in dormitories. You must reserve your place. Evening catering is also by reservation.
