Where this striking rock is first seen in its full size, serpentines begin leading downwards. I skipped this because it was late and instead climbed the opposite "peak" (climbing in under 1 minute). From up there you have exactly the same view as in the photo.

Please do not encourage others to camp there too. It is forbidden and nature suffers as a result.
