Lago di Livigno The Lago di Livigno is a reservoir that lies largely in Italy and only a small part in the north on Swiss soil. This part of the lake is located in the Graubünden municipality of Zernez. The reservoir lies at an altitude of 1805 meters above sea level and is around nine kilometers long. The Luwinersee, as it is called in German, is fed by various mountain streams, including the Torrente Federia, the Acqua del Gallo and the Spöl. After the arch dam, the Spöl flows through the Swiss National Park towards Zernez and feeds the Lai da Ova Spin on its way.
