## トンネル Puyoô駅とSalies-de-Béarn駅の間に位置するこのトンネルは、PuyoôとMauléonを結ぶ路線番号662.000の重要な構造物の一つです。単線トンネルで、長さは848.5m、壁間の開口部は5.00mです。キーストーン下の高さは6.00mです。多半径ヴォールト構造です。構造物は全体的に南北方向に配置されており、北側250mは半径400mの曲線、その後は南端まで直線となっています。縦断勾配は北側から常に0.01m/mの上り勾配です。中央の水道がトンネル全行程にわたって設置されています。最大覆工厚は49mです。トンネルはカンパニアン期（上部白亜系）のフライシュ帯に位置しています。 トンネルの建設（1879-1883年）は、PM219とPM632に位置する深さ約35mの2つの立坑から掘削されました。立坑は換気シャフトとして保存されています。石積みの厚さ（石灰岩の粗石と石灰モルタル）は0.50mから1.20mまで変化します。当初計画されていたトンネル長400mは、勾配を下げる（20‰から16‰へ）決定により787mに延長されました。建設中、アクセス掘削時に遭遇した地盤の不安定性により、構造物はさらに延長され、最終的に848.5mの長さになりました。多くの地盤の不安定性（地滑り）が、工事の進捗に大きな遅延を引き起こしました。トンネルは1930年に電化され、架線設備は1971年に撤去されました。

The houses are connected to Chemin du Lavoir by stairs built on the old ramparts. They were taken down to fetch water from the fountain and do laundry chores. The washhouse is made up of two basins and flat stones or boards on which the washerwomen soaped or beat the linen. This fountain-washhouse is mentioned in the municipal registers in 1609 under the name of Cappellade fountain and was, until the mid-1960s, before water supply, the nerve center of the Bourgneuf district. Here is the testimony of a resident who remembers this recent past: “This Bourgneuf fountain was very famous because the water was very fresh and most of the women of Sordes came at midday with their jug to collect water.
