These are Schindler-type infantry bunkers, also known as one-man bunkers. A historical military installation. In the past, it was possible to trigger the detonation of the footbridge from the bunker. The customs house next door is no longer in use.

Very nice route by the water

The waterfront promenade is beautiful! Please be aware that there are a lot of people walking along it, especially when the weather is nice. I would recommend avoiding those times. If you can plan more time, you can relax at some lovely spots with great views. Highly recommended.
