エパネット湿原は、数十年にわたる広大な放牧によって維持されてきた広大な湿地と低湿地の草原が特徴です。グランド・エパーニュ湿原の放牧されていない地域は、高い草と葦（アシ）の混じった植生が優勢で、徐々にヤナギの茂みに覆われています。これらの広大な開けた（非森林）環境はユニークな景観を提供するだけでなく、環境の多様性とこれまでの管理方法により、ピカルディ地方、さらにはフランス全体で数多くの保護種、希少種、絶滅危惧種を含む、例外的な動植物の表現が可能になっています。湿原では多くの利用（放牧、狩猟、漁業、散策、草刈り、伐採など）と利用者（！）が共存しており、この例外的な自然遺産を保全しながら、これらの実践すべてを両立させることが大きな課題となっています。自然保護区は、2008年から自治体、沿岸・湖岸保護区、私有地の所有者と協力してこの地の保全に取り組んでいます。150ヘクタールのこの湿原には、季節ごとに保護植物であるフリチラリア・ピントゥラータやコウノトリを見ることができる小道が通っています。 https://www.cen-hautsdefrance.org/site/les-marais-depagne-epagnette/

Magnificent castle, witness to a flourishing industrial past.

The current Abbeville Town Hall is a 20th-century building designed by architect Clément Tambuté and inaugurated in 1960, replacing the original medieval structure that was destroyed during German bombing in May 1940. The modern building features a rectangular design constructed from brick and stone, with a facade supported by pillars and five large glazed bays. A contemporary belfry stands adjacent to the main building, connected by a covered gallery.

During the French Revolution, the church served as a "Temple of Reason" and hosted a festival in honor of the Supreme Being on June 8, 1794.

One of the finest examples of Flamboyant Gothic architecture in maritime Picardy, constructed between 1488-1539 for the nave and 1661-1663 for the choir. The church was built on marshy ground near a branch of the Somme River with an unusual north-facing façade instead of the traditional western orientation. During World War II, German artillery bombardment on May 20, 1940, caused a devastating fire that destroyed much of the building, with restoration completed only in 1998.
