Viewpoint with bus stop and bench. Many hiking and biking trails start from here.

The view is dominated on the right by the Farnsberg hill, with the bright, light-colored ruins of Farnsburg Castle perched on its upper slope, visible from afar. A visit to the ruins is highly recommended. From up here, the view sweeps down to the village of Hemmiken and further into the Jura Mountains.

You can jog or hike under the transmission tower. A beautiful section of forest.

A via ferrata set also works with the holding bolts, although it is a bit laborious. Nevertheless, it can be helpful to avoid injuries, as on the steep climb through forests and meadows it is inevitable that the soles of your shoes will become muddy and slippery. You may then not be able to find a proper grip on the pebbles of the conglomerate.

Best avoided in the wet, path up not well marked, use the map via GPS.
