There you'll find expert advice on what to do next on your hikes. If you stay the evening, the dining room is welcoming and the meals are delicious and plentiful. The nearby bivouac area can accommodate around ten tents.

Large, welcoming refuge. An invigorating, cool shower during our stay. Very good meal and a great atmosphere in the evening. The caretaker was attentive. Maps, guidebooks, books, and board games are available in the common room.

The Glère refuge is located at the entrance to the Néouvielle reserve. Perched on its rocky outcrop, it is immersed in a spectacular setting. It welcomes you in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. More information here: https://refugedelaglere.ffcam.fr/.

The Campana de cloutou refuge is located in the Néouvielle nature reserve. Located at 2,225 meters above sea level, it borders the lake of the same name and has 36 beds. More information: https://refugecampanadecloutou.ffcam.fr/

Very beautiful point of view on the surrounding peaks as well as on the peak of Bastan which awaits you. The night at the edge of the lake is very pleasant.

The Bastan refuge is located a little higher up, on the shores of Lac du Milieu. It is open from the last weekend of May to the first weekend of October, continuously. It offers a 12-seat dormitory as well as a refectory for which we advise you to book in advance on the refuge website: http://refugedebastan.fr/dates-douverture/ However, the refuge remains open out of season (you will need to bring your duvets) to accommodate hikers in need of shelter.

La Lude hut is closed most of the time. But just for the postcard, it deserves to linger a bit and enjoy the view. Its small stone bridge, just behind, does not detract from the picturesque character of the painting. The hut is also one of the best viewpoints to view the expanse of Lake Oule.

Located at 2,041 meters above sea level, dets Coubous is a reservoir lake. In other words, it is a water reservoir whose level is controlled and which fulfills utility purposes (sanitation system, irrigation, etc.). In addition to its usefulness, this body of water offers a splendid panorama of the Néouvielle reserve. It is also the first in a long series of lakes. It marks, as it were, the northern entrance to the reserve.
