The chapel of Sainte-Marguerite (987 m) is beautifully situated on a plateau near Chirols. A pilgrimage takes place there on the first weekend in September. It is plain from the outside. It is also not usually accessible. But the view from the Tanargue mountains over the Escrinet and the foothills of the Alps to Mont Ventoux is impressive. Unfortunately, as is often the case in France, there are various broadcasting stations in the area.
