Here on the village square in front of the church is the former village school with a memorial stone. Behind it on the street side there is a place to stop for a bite to eat in the local village restaurant "Gasthof zur Post".

The high school principal, Johann Nikolaus Niclas, made a great contribution here in Gräfenwarth. He financed the reconstruction of the village school, paid teachers out of his own pocket and donated the organ in the local church. (Information from a local - thank you).

The Protestant village church of St. Martin was built in the middle of the 14th century. It was a simple Gothic building. The furnishings date from the 18th century. The small church room with two galleries has 180 seats.
