The Col de Bès offers various magnificent viewpoints over the valley. A menhir recalling the ancestral human presence in the region is also present around the pass.

Leaving from Saint-Martial, the climb to the Col de la Tribale is around 6km long with an average gradient of around 6%.

A picturesque town which is located in the forests. It's just above the elbes river.

You can refresh yourself in Colognac. The bar on the square sells drinks and offers other services. In the town, you'll find the charming Mouleyrette mill. It's nestled in the heart of the Gard Cévennes mountains, in a beautiful setting along a rugged river. Located at an altitude of 600 meters, it sits near a small waterfall. It's still operational, thanks to a restoration project undertaken by an association in 1991.
