After a very windy night we leave the campsite and are quickly in Fynshav at the harbor. Here we fill all the water bottles and walk along the coast into the forest. At Skovmose we go to the Alsstien. The Alsstien crosses the island of Als and begins at the dam to Kegnaes. It leads partly along the coast, between fields and through forests. For us, the stretches of coast are hardly manageable. So we often take the bike route. One section could no longer be avoided

The tour starts with some shopping and then out of town. The sun is shining, the path is easy to go and we are making rapid progress. We walk past countless fields along Horup Hav until shortly before Skovby. Here the path leads us away from the coast. The gendarme path ends inconspicuously shortly after

A short tour is scheduled for the hobbling four-legged friend. First we leave Sonderborg along the bank and cross the Sonderskov.
