A scenic hike today from Pfaffenheck to Waldesch on the B 327 Hunsrückhöhenstrasse.
Approximately 10 km.
In the morning a lot of frost on the trees and meadows.
Night frost.
Then slowly the sun came out.

The first climb is rewarded with a fantastic view of the volcanoes of the Eastern Eifel.
Along the crater rim it goes down to the crater breakthrough and a lava flow in the Kottenheimer
